The setting system of jOpenSim is currently completely redesigned. Mind that in future versions, the modules (friends, grid status) also will need to be replaced.
The upcoming release will have a new OpenSim module for "Search" having also an event handling included.
There are also many invisible changes to make jOpenSim prepared for jOpenSimMoney, which will be available for purchase in one of the releases right after this upcoming one...

The Demogrid has been updated to the newest OpenSim Version 0.7.2-Dev and has included the first alpha release of the jOpenSimMoneyModule, which will be published together with an extension specific addon for jOpenSim soon (under commercial license).
For testing, every user will get a starting balance of 50k playing money after login. There is a new region (TesterLand) where buying land is possible. All OpenSim currency functions except "group enrollment fee" should be working.
If you want to test these new functions in FoTo50's DemoGrid, be sure to update the gridmanager of your viewer.

foto50.com migrated last night to Joomla's Version 1.7. This is to test my first migration of jOpenSim for this new version. If you feel, something is not working as you are used to, please dont hesitate to post a topic in the forum.

I'm currently working on brand new modules (profile, search, money) for OpenSim to interact with jOpenSim. Lots of C# learning has to be done from my side for this, but the first tests look really cool. Please be a little patient with me as this is an absolute new field for me...
Also I'm looking into converting jOpenSim for Joomla V1.6+...
